Time for tea, and a tip of the hat, thank you, as we party down with a bit from the Mad Hatter. The Mad Hatter swears off the tea, of course, and, on second thought, skip the hat, and let dashing artists Giffen and Sienkiewicz show you the tale of how the Hatter, and Alice, first meet, given from The Mad Hatter’s point of view. Rare is it to read a story from his viewpoint, and a deep bow to the writer Walker for reminding us how the Hatter got the adjective Mad added to his name. Beautifully written, yes, and I can’t say enough about the lack of hats, and the lack of tea, in this comic. A classic, really, just a classic.
