David Marquez continues his rise to power w/ Miles #10. After a shaky start, he's cementing his place on Marvel's 'Young Guns' list. Compare this issue with #1 or 2, the storytelling, the line work, the emotion, all improved. Now compare it to last week's 'GOTG' and see where the short end of the stick reeaally wound up.
Bendis gives Miles a break this issue. He gets a standard fight, a team-up, some time with Ganke, and meets Katie's dad. It's all done with the expected verbal flair AND with a bit of classic Joan Jett. It won't change your world, but its a fine example of most of what makes this title work well.
