Part one of “The Hard Way” starts with Wolverine looking to stop the Romulus madness, to end the manipulation of his life. It’s a story that involves sons, with their fathers, and how each can make different choices. With some gritty art by Doug Braithwaite, and straightforward storytelling by Daniel Way, the story evolved to a cliffhanger with a guest star, set to mature next issue. Don’t know how he found the guest star (super-duper smell?), but still a superb issue, and this from a guy who picks up a Wolverine comic once a decade.
